Sometimes, in the midst of you doing something you really want to do, which in my case is to tell you the story of the fairies and impart some magic into your life, you have to put that on hold.  Sometimes life shows up, and while you can't fix all the broken pieces, you at least show up and try to help any way you can.  To lend a hand, or to listen, or to just give comfort.  Life showed up a few weeks ago and I have to deal with some things.  I will be back shortly, and the story will continue.  Thank you for checking back to see it unfold.

As I said before, there is always a beginning........On the sea, a heartbeat and a song from here, lies a solitary island.  Shrouded in clouds, a stone's throw from end to end, it can only be seen if it wants to be.  The island goes down into the depths, anchored since the beginning of time, sentinel and watching.  There is a tree that resides there, unlike any tree that is found anywhere on this planet.  It is the first, one of the ancient ones, the oldest fairy of all.  For when fairies age, they do not die, they become.  Become what you ask?  It depends on the fairy.  They just become.
This tree, the ancient one, could not remember his name any longer, for thousands of years, he was simply the tree.  Old memories flickered in and out, the wisps of the decades, caressing as dreams but the times between waking were so so long.  Storms raged at times, still he slept on.  Sun shone brightly, dazzling gems of light reflecting from the blue of the sea, still he slept on.  Magnificent limbs with branches forming a canopy and roots that went deep, silent and content to just be.
It had been hundreds of years since he had awoke but the time was coming that he would.

When the first baby laughed for the first time, its laugh broke into a thousand pieces, and they all went skipping about, and that was the beginning of fairies ~by J. M. Barrie | Quote Snack

Reading of fairy tales and magical things gave birth to my creativity at a very young age.  My mind has always reeled with tales from just looking at or hearing something.  I never want to grow up, not totally, Peter Pan is my hero.  The wee magical folk have given my imagination and my love of reading, writing, and mini things, continue to grow throughout the years by leaps and bounds.
I am embarking on a October Platform Building, and learning to increase my productivity for my writing and my mini creations.  Tomorrow I will begin the tale and take you with me as we fly with our heads in the clouds (feet on the ground, yet skipping).

The Beginning

There always has to be a beginning, one that is recent, one from long ago.........I suppose it depends on which story as to which beginning.
This is the beginning of a venture into a cyberspace creation that begins with magic and fairies and things to make us dream.
Welcome all, please remove your shoes, dust off your wings and enter the land of magic and minis.
